  2. GWB gave everybody tax cuts, not just the rich. The mistake with Bush was not that he cut taxes, but that he did not restrain spending, a policy Obama has made twice as bad. Yes the stock market is increasing now, but mainly because the fed is inflating the money supply, and that excess cash has nowhere else to go, not beause of any fundamental economic strength. And prosperity is created by production, not consumption, and increases in production are driven by investment. Driving demand, without increasing production, just increases inflation.
